Hierarchy and count

Hello

I want to show a category and all of it’s sub-categories in a hierarchical fashion, including count of posts in each category.

If I disable tree view, then the main category and sub-categories are shown on the same level i.e. no hierarchical formatting.

If I enable tree view, the hierarchy is there but the count of posts no longer shows. Also, the list is always collapsed – how do I change the default setting to being expanded?

The theme I am using is Hueman, in case that matters.
