High CLS mobile view caused by gallery block

  • Hi,

    When using the Gutenberg gallery block there is a high cumulative layout shift or CLS in mobile view with only 4 thumbnails.

    After researching this intensively, it seems that the browser doesn’t have the height dimensions of the images and is not allocating the space which is causing the cumulative layout shift.

    Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    It has been five days and no replies.

    Is this just a graffiti type of support – you write something on a wall and people look at it saying that it’s nice?

    I have seen the same issues reported dating back to mid 2020.

    Am I at the right place to report issues or bugs?
