High CPU usage until header “sticks”

  • I am using the “Company Elite” theme and setting #custom-header to be sticky. This plugin works great except for one problem. When the page loads, I observe high CPU usage until I scroll enough for the header to “stick”. CPU usage drops down at this point. If I scroll back up again where the header is no longer sticking, the CPU usage spikes again. This problem goes away if I use Legacy Mode. Legacy mode works fine for me and I can keep using it. I just wanted to mention this behavior.

    The CPU usage isn’t enough to cause any performance issues so I doubt anyone would notice. I just happen to watch my CPU all the time so I noticed the extra load. Let me know if you need anything else.
