High MySQL Demand

    I am experiencing a curious situation, all of a sudden when I try to MANAGE or WRITE a post I experience a really high server demand.

    When I try and click on WRITE NEW POST from the Dashboard the write page does not even load up.

    However the front end works just fine, nice and fast! Oh and all the other backend pages load up just great.

    USING:
    WP 2.1.2
    MySQL 4.1.21-standard
    PHP 4.3.11

    Plugins;
    Askimet
    Another WordPress Meta Plugin
    Autohyperlink
    Crawlpage
    Landing sites
    Post Templates
    Related Posts
    SH-Autolink
    Share This
    SideBar Widgets

    Ultimate Tag Warrier

    OK figured it out – was looks like Ultimate Tag Warrior needs an upgrade to work with this version of WP.

    What was happening was numerous “junk” entries were being made into one of my tables and just overloading the DB – to the tune of 40,000+ records!

    So sorting this out will be my morning project tomorrow!
