High outgoing traffic

  • In last 4 days I have traffic of 2.6GB in my CP.

    By google analytics in last 4 days I had:

    Visits
370
Unique Visitors
344
Pageviews
966
Pages / Visit
2.61
Avg. Visit Duration
00:01:47

    Is this possible?
    370 visits, 2 minutes each = 2.60GB of outgoing traffic?

  • Depends on what is on the pages visited. Do you have lots of or large graphics? Youtube files?

    Hi, kmessinger.
    I use shortcode to embed youtube and other videos.
    For images I use hard crop method, and they aren’t big at all.

    I think it is the page views that contribute to the outgoing traffic.

    It is 1.30MB.
    If I count it as 1.50MB and multiple by 966 views, it is 1449MB / 1.41GB.
    Half of what I have.

    I will check this with my hosting.
    It is unfair. This is visible stealing.

    I don’t know which plugin can save me now for rest of the month.
    Do you have any suggestions, which caching plugin can help me to save traffic?
