    Good morning,

    First of all:
    – Report: OBPXFNSR
    – Report date: 08/26/2021 11:27:03

I am having problems caused by high CPU resource consumption in my hosting provider since August 10. Just see …

    https://ibb.co/r0ZHptP
    https://ibb.co/Cn6kcB0

Every time the server is overloaded, the account is locked for 1 hour for protection. Also, the overall performance and speed of WordPress Backend and Frontend has dropped considerably and the CPU limit is exceeded simply by editing a post or page on my website.

To find the cause of the problem, I have worked together with my hosting provider and I have hired the services of a programmer and finally it seems that Litespeed Cache plugin is overloading the server.

There are many tasks that take until 30 seconds to execute related to Litespeed and top issue seems to be this:

PHP Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to node449.quic.cloud:443 (Connection timed out) in /home/micafete/public_html/micafeteraexpress.com/wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/src/utility.cls.php on line 182

It seems like Litespeed cache is not able to connect to the quic cloud cdn

Please, I need your help to solve this problem that is causing a very low performance on my website and server saturation.

If you need anything from me, I will be happy to help. I can send you logs and more information that I can’t send here.

    Thank you very much, greetings.

    Hi,

have you whitelisted our IPs ? https://quic.cloud/ips

the error message like that typically firewall blocking connection

    Best regards,

Good morning!! the answer is no.

However, I am not using any CDN service. Not Quic’s, not Cloudflare’s either. I have all the checkboxes set to OFF within the CDN settings. Is it still necessary to whitelist the IPS?

If yes, could you tell me how and where I can do it? Thanks

    Hi,

well , even you are not using any QC services , the plugin may still attempt to connect and retrieve certain information , like new update notification …etc

    Hi,

if you have any security plugin , like WordFence , you should whitelist IP there

besides that , there is also a mod_security and server firewall need to take into consideration , but for this part, you may need to seek assistance from your hosting provider

    Hi @qtwrk,

yes, I am using a security plugin, but it is WP Cerber Security.

OK, I have already whitelisted the ips from quic.cloud. I will test a few days to see if the error has been fixed.

    Thanks.
