• Hello

I have 4 websites which are running WordPress, which I have been using for many many years without problems. Since June 2015 my sites keep being switched off by the server company due to high resource usage.

I am a light user, so each of the WP installations has just a few plugins.

I try to keep my WP installations up to date but I don’t think that this is the problem because the server usage happens even on fresh sites. For example one of my installations is maybe a few weks old and is already causing problems.

Below is the message I got. Maybe you could help me decipher it so that I know what to do. So far my efforts to solve the problem are futile. No matter what I do, the server gets shut down and I end up without any email access, without websites, my blog goes down etc.

Unfortunately, this is high for the shared server environment. Please continue with your updates and optimizations to bring down your resource usage below 2% and please keep us posted on your work progress so that we can take an appropriate action further on this issue.

I have changed my true domains to domain1, domain2 etc as well as my server username to ‘server’. I simply don’t know if it is safe to post them.

Please help me. Since June my domains have been switched off multiple times and I just can’t go on without emails for days until the server company switches my domains on for 24 hours, only to see high usage and switch me off again.

As a result, we have temporary suspend your account due to high resource usage on shared server.
