High sql size

Hello, My website is 5 years old. I had done many plugins install and uninstall on my starting days. I did not notice that all the database entry remains on my website database. Now I can see that wp_options is 36GB in size. There are many rows in it, I think it is causing the high size. Is it possible to decrease the size of wp_options? If yes how? I can see that lots of rows for those plugins which was installed in my initial days.
