High usage of CPU – after update to 4.4.2

  • Have you tried disabling all plugins and enabling them one by one? It is most likely is a plugin causing the issue rather than the core WordPress install.

    Maintaining 2 sites. I disabled all the plugins. Still no reaction. The usage is stable at 85% even during deactivating or activating. I have blocked a few IPs regularly visible in visitor still the usage stable at 85%

    I raised a ticket with my host and is resolved immediately. As per my host (Bigrock India) it is due to cached PHP processes. I appriciate the quick response of my host.
