Higher rated content floats to the top?

This looks like an excellent plugin. I do have a couple of questions before I dive into getting the Pro version.

1. Can the information architecture of the site be influenced by the quality of the content? For example, if there is one page within a particular section is there a way that this content could be promoted within this section over the content that is rated lower?
2. How about search results? Does this plugin influence search results at all?
