Highlight city boundaries and fill color

You can do this with geojson files and the plugin Extensions for Leaflet Map. Here is an example. The geojson files I got from https://overpass-turbo.eu/ and https://polygons.openstreetmap.fr.

It’s been some time since I created the geojson files. I looked at it again, it’s pretty simple. Open https://www.openstreetmap.org, search the city, select it and get the id of the relation of the administrative boundary. This id put in https://polygons.openstreetmap.fr/ and get the geojson.

Just for final steps… I succesfully enter the id of relation on the server and it shows the info in several formats (kml, geojson, json, img, etc) so when I click on geojson it open a new page with the cord. list, my questions: 1. Do I copy/paste this info in a new file and name it cityx.geojson? 2. How can I save on my own local site this geojson files for using it with leaflet-geojson shortcode?

Yes.

There is a “file manager” in Extensions for Leaflet Map. Open https://your-domain.tld/wp-admin/admin.php?page=extensions-leaflet-map&tab=filemgr. You must enable the upload of geojson to the media library. Then can you upload the file. Next open https://your-domain.tld/wp-admin/admin.php?page=extensions-leaflet-map&tab=filemgr-list, list all files and get the shortcode.

hupe13, When list all files it says Listing files…. and then…. no files
The geojson file was created from a txt file then renamed to .geojson and uploaded into Media Library (I did that using the Media Library>>Add new file module). I allowed geojson files in the plugin as you comment. But when Listing All files, no files showed.

Is this normal?

Anyway, the geojson shortcode is working! the map is showed with the boundaries highlighted.
