Highlight Current Tag

it is possible to style the current category by using the .current-cat css – there isn’t a version for tags is there perhaps a workaround?

i’m currently using a tag cloud (with smallest and biggest set the same) as part of the menu system mixed in with categories… the categories show up fine when it is current but i need a way to do the same for tags… i’m thinking due to the fact that the page address is /tags/xyz it would be doable to flag the tag of the same name?

so yeah, 2 questions, how to highlight the tag and secondly am i doing it right by using a tag cloud? is there not a standard list tags function?
