Highlight Map Region Based on Post / Page

    We’ve built a map of Italy with a specific post for each individual region. We want to use the map as a hero or sidebar and thought it would be very helpful if the map would highlight whichever region the user was on based on the post / page.

    For example, if the user clicks on Campania on the map of Italy, they would go to the “Campania” post. While on this page, is it possible to have the map highlight Campania on the map without directly hovering over it again?

    Hi @jdar Thank you for using the plugin!

    In this free version unfortunately we don’t have a solution to have a region highlighted based on the current post/page. The only solution would be to create different maps, one with each region highlighted and then place them on the different pages.

    In the Pro version there would be ways, but would still require some custom coding, to identify the current page and trigger the select/highlight on the map. If you have the Pro version and want to follow up on this, please write us through our official website, since these forums are only for the free version.
