    Hey there

It looks like this is a simple issue with some elements on the website overlaying parts of the plugin.

To fix this for now, add the following to Jetpack’s Custom CSS module (I see you already use it):

    #user-feedback-canvas, #user-feedback-overlay { z-index: 100000; }

Let me know if that works.

    Hi Pascal!
Thank you so much. Seems like that solved the problem! I’ll leave you a well-deserved 5-star review right away! ??
Oh, do you plan to develop it further?
I have a small feature request if you don’t mind ??
I think it would be awesome if users could have a choice to skip the screenshot taking altogether. Can you, please, add a Skip This Step button or something?
Also, choosing the type of feedback could be nice (e.g. problem, suggestion, idea, praise)

Anyway thanks for the great support! I really appreciate it!

    Thanks for the awesome review!

We have lots of plans for the plugin, don’t worry ??

For example, we’re experimenting with a radically simplified flow where you drag the feedback button around, write your feedback and click send. This would remove the need to highlight anything and also make the screenshot part less obvious.

Does that sound good to you?

I really like the idea of choosing the type of feedback. It’s noted!

    Hi Pascal,
What do you mean by dragging the button around? Like changing the position on the screen or something?
I love the simplicity and that it doesn’t require too many steps.
I also love that it sends a private feedback straight to my email where I can reply to the user – that’s awesome, especially in combination with Mandrill.

Another suggestion could be publishing user feedback on the site (provided that the user opted in for that) and allowing other people to view the feedback of each other, vote and leave comments ??
But that’s probably way too complex.

Yes, something like that. It’s a bit inspired by InVision if you know that tool. See: https://cloudup.com/cAKDvEsCxmY

The goal is to remove any unneeded steps. Just click, write, and you’re done.

We’re working on storing the feedback in the back-end. This would make such a feature possible. However, it’s definitely out of scope for this project.

It’d be easier to find an existing plugin that does this and connect it with the User Feedback tool.
