Highlighting on hover is intermittent at best

    Hi there

    I’ve finally started using MyCurator but have noticed a problem with the highlighting when you hover over text in the editor.

    It rarely works.

    I’ve made a long training post live and the highlight appears only over a couple of paragraphs (and there are dozens in the article).

    I’m running PageLines DMS but have ruled that out at the problem because I tried activating 2013 and the problem remained.

    I’ve ruled out plugins because I’ve tried deactivating them and the problem remained.

    I’ve clicked on the update button and still can’t get the highlighting to work.

    Please advise.

    Unfortunately, not everyone uses good html practice in identifying block elements such as paragraphs, outlines etc. That means we can’t identify the element and can’t highlight it (though you can clearly see it, the computer needs some tags to see it). If they don’t highlight you can cut and paste as a work around.

    Please post some links here to the articles you are having problems with. We’ll try to add any new techniques that we can identify to future releases.

    Got it. I was basing my comments on a single post from one site. What you’re saying totally makes sense.

    I should have tried a few more posts from a few different sites.

    Anyway, I”ll revisit this issue and may post links to the site if it’s a quality site.

    Sorry for the bother. It never occurred to me that the problem could have been rooted in the site I was pulling content from.
