highlighting phrases in a post

If you’re using quicktags:
Set default to open in advanced editing.
Add a quicktag in the quicktag.js file that will write the code automatically

I don’t think that’s what he’s looking to do. He wants to be able to pass in a word, say from a search, and have it highlight the word in all the posts being displayed.
This would probably be best doing through a plugin with a filter of some sort to set span tags around each ocurrance of the word, and then define the highlight colors in the css.
But what do I know? I’m just a gnome. Feel free to ignore this. Everyone else usualy does.
