    Hi,

I have been using this plugin for some years now but there has always been one thing that has bugged me

I can not for the life of me figure out how to make it easier to read the packing list with a product that has variations

Here is an imgur showing what I am talking about:

    Making Packing Slips Easier

As you can see in this image it is extremely hard to figure out were the variation ends:

This is just a quite mock up of what I imagine would make it much easier to read (I can do the CSS work, I just can not find a way to do it:

The system is definitely sending the information has two different items because in the pick list you can see it understands what is the title and what is the selection:

I had thought about just making automated packing slips for every variation however one of my products has over 1000 variations

    Any help would be apricated

    Awesome plugin otherwise!

    Hi @bustersenshi ,

The packing slips are generated on the ShipStation side, and yours look very different from what I get when I generate them.

    Here’s what mine looks like:

    ShipStation packing list

I generated it by going to the order on ShipStation and using the default packing list template:

Are you using a different method to generate that list?

Im doing the same method, however I do have a slight style on the packing slip.

However when looking at the data I think ours are rather similar.

I reached out to shipstation and they said it had to do with the plugin (Which seemed incorrect)

Just wondering would you find sharing a link to your testing environment (If it is live) I would like to make sure it is taking data from the front end like how mine is

    Thanks

    Hi @bustersenshi ,

Unfortunately the environment isn’t inaccessible online. The packing slip I generated, though, was built entirely in ShipStation.

I did, though, capture the XML that the ShipStation plugin sends over. This is the only interface between the extension on the site and ShipStation.

You can view the file here (email and internal site address have been masked): https://drive.google.com/file/d/16ir5SX735TVmm7JRG_n6h8fW29Yu7nKk/view?usp=sharing

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you for that Mike

If nothing this helps me better explain to the shipstation tech support the XML line that I want to see modified and gives me more exact information to talk to them about!
