Highlighting WP Tags in results

    This looks like a great plugin which seems to do everything I need so far. One small issue though, although the plugin is successfully searching my posts’ tags, it isn’t highlighting the tags on the results pages. All other text in the body/title of the search results is highlighted correctly, just not the tags at the foot of each post.

    The CSS I use to display my tags is very basic (e.g. font size. margin & padding) but is this conflicting with the highlighting of the plugin? Any way I can work around it so that my tags are highlighted?

    thanks for reaching out!
    The good news is that your CSS code is not conflicting with the plugin’s code. Unfortunately there were some issues with highlighting tags, so we decided to discard this option. I am really sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks for getting back to me. That’s a shame but never mind – other than that small issue it works perfectly and is an awesome plugin!

    Hi again Petra,

    Since installing the plugin my site performance has dropped massively. Spoken to my hosts and they pointed towards Search Everything as causing very slow MySQL queries so I think I’ll have to uninstall for now.

    thanks for the feedback! This is plausible but usually it happens when there is a conflict with some other plugin. Would you mind giving me the list of your plugins – also, and I am sorry to give you a hard time about this but please create a new topic for this issue, so that we don’t spam this one.
