Highly recommended!

Excellent plugin that provided immediate speed improvement to my woocommerce store!

My store is very image heavy (several thousand images) so I decided to go through the process of optimizing my images to try and speed things up.

Prior to optimizing the images I was using the Jetpack site accelerator (CDN) for image delivery, and while it certainly helped, my home page size was huge (5MB+).

After optimizing the images my home page size is now down to under 2MB, but as Jetpack site accelerator has no option to flush its cache, the only way to display my shiny new optimized images was to disable the ‘Speed up image load times’ option in Jetpack site accelerator.

Oddly enough after the image optimization, my page speeds where almost exactly the same with ‘Speed up image load times’ enabled or disabled as Jetpack was loading 5MB+ or my host server was loading the 2MB home page at the same speed.

This being the case I was kind of stuck using Jetpack site accelerator, as while it wasn’t utilizing the optimized images, it was removing the load from my host server and thus helping things tick along.

Enter Sirv! Haha!

With Sirv activated I’m now able to use my optimized images without the additional strain on my host server.
Images load incredibly quickly and I’ve also been able to remove an extra plugin by using Sirv’s lazy load option.

I’m now seeing a performance rating of 99% when doing a site audit on Google Chrome… nice!

Also, when I initially set up Sirv I had a few questions and the support provided was outstanding.
