• Admin Columns Pro has some really cool features. Just being able to add additional columns to admin overview pages is pretty cool in itself, but the Pro version also allows you to add sorting, filtering and inline editing. These are great features. If you build WordPress sites for hire, these are features your clients will really love (and probably ask for).

There are some limitations to what you can do with ACP. If you have dates stored in metadata, the current version does not allow you to filter on ranges of these dates. Also, if you have dates stored in UTC, you will have to add your own code (you can do it in JavaScript) to get the dates to be displayed in the user’s local timezone. These are understandable limitations, and don’t terribly diminish the usefulness of the product. They are just things to be aware of before you buy.

I submitted a few questions, both directly to the developer team and on the public forums. In both cases, I got good responses within a day.

Overall, a pretty useful plugin. As long as you are aware of the minor limitations, I would strongly recommend it.
