Hijacks plugin pages to show message to upgrade

I have spent a lot of money on Brainstorm Force products. I chose to let my license lapse as it says I could continue to use the versions that I paid for without having to upgrade.

However, all the plugins (I use all 7 or so of their primary plugins) – now show a message when there is a new version saying that my license has expired and that I need to repurchase to upgrade. Fair enough. I don’t plan on upgrading and I just want to acknowledge the message and stay on my current paid for version in peace.

However, this is not possible, as Brainstorm Force use the top part of the screen to remind me how I should repurchase them. There is NO way of removing the message as there is no close or dismiss button. So now in my control panel I have 7 upgrades pending and every admin screen has 7 non-dismissible messages at the top saying I need to repurchase as my license has expired!

I wrote to their support and explained that I do not want to upgrade and I requested that they at least put a “close” button on their messages so I could use my old purchased versions in peace, however they have chosen not to.

In my opinion this is highly unethical and makes me feel like I have done something wrong, even though I have paid a lot of money to the company.
