Hijacks WordPress editor so you can’t see the code, and corrupts it
-
With the normal WordPress editor, including the block editor, you have an option to edit the pseudo-HTML as raw code. Elementor deliberately prevents this, which is not what you want should something go wrong – which it inevitably will – since it makes it much more of a PITA to put right.
I put in a support request about this, asking how we could access the pseudo-HTML (or whatever it is), so that we could diagnose a problem caused by this software. The only response I got in over two months claimed we had the ‘pro’ version (we do not) and therefore WordPress’s rules do not allow them to provide support. I replied to the contrary, almost two months ago, but have not heard anything more.
Please give this a miss.
