The Avada theme shows the Quiz and Survey Master hints perfectly fine using a desktop computer, but does not show when using a smart phone. I pretty sure this is a theme issue because hints show on a smart phone on another site I manage that has a different theme.

Anyway, I’m no theme expert but I willing to try adding custom CSS to try and fix this. Appreciate any recommendation of a custom CSS snippet to try out to get the hint to show on smart phones.

    Best regards,
    Mike

  • Hi @mike_in_md,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I visited your quiz link but your website blocked me from accessing your website. As you are experiencing this conflict only with the Avada theme so I request you to contact the Avada theme support and ask them to troubleshoot and resolve this conflict.

    Let me know.

    Regards,

Not sure why Kriti can’t see the website since the rest of the world can see it. The Avada theme developer doesn’t care about providing free support to make their theme work with QSM software – that’s what they said. I assume this is a common problem with many other themes as well.

My recommendation to anyone wanting to use the Quiz and Survey Master Hints feature is to beware that it may or may not work with your mobile web theme. The best thing to do in my opinion is to test it with one question first. If that doesn’t work (for mobile devices) just append the hint to the end of the question if your theme developer doesn’t want to help; QSM isn’t going help you either.

    Kriti,

I was informed by the IT manager of the website that they do indeed block from non-domestic IPs for security reasons. So, I was mistaken that the rest of the world can see the website.

    Hi @mike_in_md,

It’s ok. If I would be able to see the quiz, I definitely had been tried to resolve the issue using custom CSS(if custom CSS can resolve the issue without tweaking any AVADA theme code which we can’t do).

But I can’t do anything here.

    Hope you understand.

    Regards,
    Kriti

I also met this same problem(the hint content just show a part on the smartphone), I am using the Astra theme.
