Hit counter resets after pushing staging production

  • I have a hosted website at my domain registrar. I have the free Visitor Traffic Real Time Statistics plugin V3.6. When I created a Staging site and copied my Production site to it via their portal, the hit counter reset to zero. I didn’t think anything of it, but when I made a test change in the website and pushed it back to Production, my Production statistics also reset to zero.

    How can I prevent this from happening?

    Hello,
    Thanks for using our plugins.
    Please check the plugin settings page, The “keep data after uninstalling the plugin”, you may unchecked this option.

    As emailed to you, this setting is already unchecked and always was.
