    Hi guys,

    As a WordPress amateur, I’ve been able to troubleshoot most issues I’ve had, but I think I’ve finally gotten in over my head.

    Long story short, I have two WP installs: one for my blog (which is on a subdomain), one for my main website. I did this a couple years ago so I could start blogging right away while I (slowly) taught myself how to code my main site.

    Two different installs. Two different themes.

    Basically I want to start from SCRATCH with my blog, but on my main site. I’m scrubbing my posts and starting from zero, so I’m not concerned with moving those over.

    Earlier this year I ended up pointing my subdomain blog to maindomain.com/blog. This was a temporary fix until I could figure out what I wanted to do. But now I want to only have ONE installation – the main one – and have my blog there as well.

    The problem I’m running into is that /blog is tied up. I want to somehow clear that subdirectory (?) so I can start building the blog there. I’ve tried re-pointing my blog to another subdomain, but /blog still shows the old blog.

    I don’t know if any of this makes sense, but any help would be appreciated!
