“Home/front” not working with other languages front pages

Hi,
if I select a widget to be visible only on homepage it works, but only for default language homepage https://www.mystite.com/

Having WPML installed, I can select for which language that text widget should be visible. If I tick the “Home/front” checkbox it doesn’t work for other languages homepages, like https://www.mystite.com/en, https://www.mystite.com/es as if they’re not considered home pages.

How can we solve?
