• I did look for the theme but it was not in the forums. I’m not used to working through the customizer with no code instead of directly editing. I’ve tried to get the size of the photo exact, but as you can see, my head is cut off in the middle.
It doesn’t look this way in the Home settings in the Customizer- there it looks ‘perfect.’ I have one browser, Vivaldi (Chrome based) that it looks good on as well. It’s fine on my Android phone as well.
Is it worth paying the $25 to go Premium? Or do you all think I can handle it? This is my fifth WP website, and though I’m still an amateur, I have learned a few things.
    Thanks!

  • I think you are just too tall for that image…

But seriously… spending the money probably isn’t going to help here.

You can try shrinking the image vertically by cropping or reducing the actual height.

Else dig into the CSS and fix it that way.

Thank you. Yes, I am tall. Half of me lives in the mesosphere.

Seriously though, what could I change the CSS to? As far as changing the picture height is concerned, the tutorial says to make it ‘at least’ 1077 pixels, which is what it is.

Well, I tried using the image ‘as is’- maybe 1500 px in height and at least you can see my face on the major browsers now. However, ?? on a mobile- at least on my Android, my face is behind the words and you get a good view of the wall air conditioning unit.

I would like to use the 1077 image and fix it for monitors; it seems fine for phones and pads.

Obviously, this is a ‘responsive’ problem and I would greatly appreciate any response! ??
