Home lands on About. Can't go to Home except in Edit mode.

  • Hi. All the sudden the address and link write.build lands on my About page. Even when I click on Home in the menu I land on About. Very frustrating!
    https://write.build/about/ also takes me to about, but https://write.build does too! I can only get to Home from Dashboard to edit, but when I click on Update and Preview it lands back on About. Thank you in advance for helping me resolve this issue.

    Update: I’ve fixed it temporarily in Reading Settings. On Front Page I deselected Home Page and now it this address works write.build/home . However, write.build defaults to About and that is not cool with me. I want it to default to Home just like before (I tried to verify my site in Google+ and that’s how this all started.) Thanks Google! Thanks, alot hahaha

    Double-check your your menu (Appearance > Menus.) I’m thinking some of the menu items may be pointing to things they don’t need to point to.

    Thank you so much, JJ. The problem was a result of redirecting from my cpanel. When I added and redirected a domain this morning, the redirect took over my main site.
