Home Link

  • Hello,

    I’m using Bam on my new Blog and I’m quite happy witz it.
    But there is one thing I’m missing: a possibility zu add a “Home”-Link back zu the mainpage. I could not find an option in the theme, so I would like to ask if it is hidden anywhere? Or is there no option for this?
    An alternative would be to link from the header picture, but I can not find where I can add the link.
    I hope there is an easy (?) possibility to add this link. Either in the main menue or via the header picture.
    I would really be happy for answers and ideas.

    Hello @wanderrate,

    You can do this with Menus. Please follow the steps below.

    1) Go to Appearance > Menus.
    2) Create a menu if you have not already created a menu.
    3) Then select “Custom Links” from the left side menu.
    4) Add your URL https://www.wanderattes-blog.de/ in the URL field.
    5) Add “Home” or text to represent home in the Link Text field.
    6) Then click the Add to Menu button. It will add the menu item to the bottom of the menu. Drag it to the top if you want to display it first.
    7) Then update the menu.

    You can link your header image to the home too. To do that,

    1) Go to Appearance > Customize > Header > General.
    2) Mark the “Link header image to homepage.” checkbox.
