Home lost on Menu for 2012 Theme

  • A couple of days ago, when I first installed the 2012 Theme, it had a HOME item, but now it has disappeared.

    How do I get it back?

    I want the readers to be able to go back to the opening page from anywhere on the menu, but they can’t do that at the moment.

    To fix this, I used an external link to the home page to create a menu item.

    Is that the standard fix?
