Follow the below steps.

Steps 1. Add the new page as “Home” >> Add the title >> Select page attribute “Custom Home page” >> Publish it.

Steps 2. Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Homepage Setting >> Checked static page >> Select “Home” page >> Publish it.

For Slider

Step 1. Add a New page for slider add your title, content and featured image then update it.

Step 2. Go Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> VW Settings >> Slider Settings >> Click on hide and show box twice >> and then select your slider pages.

For Services

Step 1. Add a new category >> Add new post >> Add title, content, select category and featured image >> Publish it.

Step 2. Go Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> VW Settings >> Services >> Select category >> publish it

First of all, thanks for your reply.

Theorically, to set the theme’s home page with the two first steps you had mentioned it must be enough, mustn’t it?

I just want to start modifying the theme starting from the homepage. If you go to my web project: wordpress.imqanalisis.es and you clic on the footer, the aspect of the homepage that the link shows is completely different from my web’s aspect.

It is a question of adding content? Theres is any option to start using the theme with content: sliders, pictures, text (lorem ipsum for ex.) and make changes from this??

I have reviewed the documentation and now I am able to customize the theme.
Until now I only have a doubt: How could I replicate ‘Facilities Section’? I mean, I want to create another two categories like “c1” but I don′t know how.

Hi,

A change in the typography has modified the aspect of some icons of my theme, such as social icons, seach for icon and so on.

How could I revert this change? Leaving the typography as it was at first, icons still look bad.

I was referring to font awesome icons. I have solved it installing “Font Awesome” plugin.

As you can imagine, I am an starter WordPress user.
