• Hi, I have been setting up my site for a few days now. https://www.lollylag.com
I was using my home page as my blog, which seems to be the wrong thing to do, and after putting in todays post I did something to mess up the nav menu and all the posts. My home page sends me to too many redirections and the second post from 2 days ago does the same thing. Can someone help me out? Thank you.

I made a post this morning hoping it would show on the blog. All I could see was the second post I put on the blog. I tried to put the post today in the nav menu, in nav menu pages to show and then I could not get back on. I can view the post and pages but get too many re directs

How exactly did you try to put the post in the nav menu?

I realized this morning that after only 3 posts it was not rolling like a blog. My first post was in the home page, my second post was in the home page and the first post archived. My third post just did not display anywhere. I went into the settings and tried to put the home page(but I started it as a post) as a static page but I did not see it there. I wanted to try to make the blog roll but lost the home page and the second post. Wow. I am sure this makes no sense.
I started my blog as a post.

backup from bluehost did not change anything

went to site options pages and clicked the post to show in nav menu

There is no “Site Options” page in WordPress. Do you mean Theme Options?

    yes thesis theme

Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

I re downloaded thesis theme and installed it, I have my homepage back.
Can I get help here with post and pages or do I have to look somewhere else because they are there but not organized?

What do you mean by “not organized”? And please do try to be patient. Not everyone on the forums is in the same time zone as you.
