• Hi there guys. I’m struggling these days to figure out what may be affecting the speed on my sites.

I’ve created weeks ago a new home page on a blog based on PB and SO widgets. I have to say is the first one where I, let’s say made a massive use of widgets.

Then, i’m wondering if maybe i’ve exceed the use of medias, images, and widgets. Becuse it is actually generating low Apdex scores and error logs.

I’ve been remove some plugins lately which were no longer supported,

Well, i’m basically looking for feedback, and eventually some suggestions Idea, i’m unable to figure out related issues. Maybe theme compatibility ?

Here is the home page link

    Regards

    Hi @andreadelriva

Sorry to hear about the hassle.

I see you’re running your site through a CDN. Visibly, the site seems to load quickly on my side. Have you tried adding a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache to assist further?

Hi Misplon, thank for the reply

I’m using WP Super Cache, and… Well, i’m not that expert about Cache settings and CDN has been added few days ago.

I asked for feedback about configuring the CDN with WP Super Cache, on this panel

And i’ve been told i can skip this part.

    What do you advise ?

I’m not an expert on WP Super Cache. I usually just make use of Browser Cache and Page Cache and leave the rest.

If there are settings that related to loading files in the footer you can try those too. Some settings might cause problems with certain plugins so you can test. If something goes wrong, roll back the last setting you activated.

If you have your CDN already setup then yes, you can skip that part in WP Super Cache settings.

Not sure what else I can say. The link provided is loading nicely for me but I realise that isn’t a proper test.
