Hello! I’m quite new at this and would appreciate any help available.

Is there some way to have the home page of the picolight theme display several posts in excerpt format rather than the complete posts? I’m trying to avoid having to scroll through the entirety of a post to get to a new one. Rather, I’d like to be able to have the front page automatically update with post excerpts and allow users to click on the post heading to get to the separate post page. The site is https://www.fiteinertia.com.

Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Go to Settings > Reading and look for “For each article in a feed, show” and select “Summary”.

    Hope that works for you.

Thanks Brad. I actually tried that and have had it set on “Summary” for a while, but it doesn’t do the trick. I think that setting is for RSS feeds and I’m simply trying to get it to show only excerts on my homepage. Any other ideas? Toughts? We used other themes before amd it was easy to adjust this setting. We really like picolight and I’m surprised it does not have this (or at least it’s not obvious).

    Thanks!
    Ben

Hey Ben, Sorry for the delay in getting back this post, end of year exams and assessment have sucked all my time up of late.

How did you go with your theme and changing to excerpts, looks like it is sorted from the looks of the website?
