Home page carousel does not work

  • Hi there,

    I am trying to get the home page carousel from the Olsen Light theme, but somehow nothing happens if I click or unclick ‘show slider’. Anyone knows what I’m doing wrong or what I should do to fix this?

  • Hi there,
    To actually get the frontpage carousel you will need to set Latest posts as your homepage under Settings->Reading.

    Also Olsen Light carousel fetches content from your actual posts, so your posts must have featured images attached to them https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/featured-image/

    Ahh I see. Im not sure whether I will be using a picture for each and every post. I think I will just go with a static home page. Thanks a lot for your help!!!
