Hi. My homepage was corrupted (or altered) in some way and now instead of a full-width image, there are two large, thick white borders on either side of the main image on the homepage. My theme is VW Book Store Pro. Does anyone know why? Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You have a server error when calling up the pages. This means that the source code is not loaded completely, which is why the page looks so strange.

The reason for the error should be visible in the error log. You can find it in your hosting area. If necessary, the support of your hosting can help you.

Alternatively, you could also enable debugging in WordPress. How to do this is described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ – also here the support of your hosting can help you if necessary to edit the file accordingly.

In both cases you should be able to see what the cause is in the logfile.

Thank you. How do I find the error log?

Is there a plug in that will find and fix the error for me?

Thx! Apparently it was a degraded server. ??

The page still looks broken to me, and I can still see that the error is occurring.

You can’t solve it with a plugin. As I said, you can find the error log in the hosting. The support of your hoster can help you with this.
