home page doesn’t load

  • I created a page titled “HomePage” that I want to be my home page.  I set WordPress  “reading settings” accordingly.

    When I type “danandmaryellen.com” into the address bar of my browser and touch Return, the address bar changes to https://danandmaryellen.com/wordpress/ and the body of the browser window shows the message:

    “This page isn’t working

    danandmaryellen.com is currently unable to handle this request.”

    When I enter “danandmaryellen.com/HomePage”, I get the message:

    “The page can’t be found.

    It looks like nothing was found at this location.”
