When I click to edit the home page I get this fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_cart() on a non-object in /nas/content/staging/delreydelrey/wp-content/plugins/woo-rfq-for-woocommerce/includes/classes/cart/gpls_woo_rfq_cart.php on line 543

This only happens when editing the page named “home” all the other pages work just fine. Need urgent help. Thank you

Works! This is such an awesome plugin. Weird that it was only doing it on that specific page. Was it something to do with the theme?

“Was it something to do with the theme?”
That is my guess. nothing wrong with the theme. it is just that woocommerce cart does not seem to be started on that page. it helps to find these different situations to make this plugin more error proof.
Plugin is still in beta stage. as you discovered with bundled products.

we are planning to catch up with all these product types first. Then we plan to build the ability for the buyer and seller to negotiate a price using the plugin(offer/counter offer)..maybe even “chat style” . we will see. First we have to get these bugs out ??

Hi I just updated the plugin again and its causing the same problem as before

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_cart() on a non-object in /nas/content/staging/delreydelrey/wp-content/plugins/woo-rfq-for-woocommerce/includes/classes/cart/gpls_woo_rfq_cart.php on line 757

Also It is acting weird with the bundle add to cart. I can send you a private link if you would like to see the staging site.. Let me know but in the meantime I’ll be returning to the previous version

The fatal error issue should be fixed now in 1.6.3. I will check the bundle issue.

Hi I stayed with the 1.5.2 version since everything worked then. But I just updated and everything seems to work fine. For a while the button text show anything but after some refreshes it does work fine. I have seen quite a few updates and was wondering what was the difference between the rfq cart and the default woo commerce cart? I prefer to just keep everything as in 1.5.2 where it would use the default woo commerce cart and just complete the entire transaction as a quote request. Reason for picking this plugin was just that, basically keep a vanilla transaction as a quote request (and we love how well you do it!). Handling a project with 1500 rental products and curious where you see the plugin going as far as feature set going? +1 for vanilla rfq transaction. Love this plugin!

    Thank you!

I think you probably want to go to woo-rfq setting and change your checkout option to rfq. I think that is what you want. let me know. in RFQ checkout as you said ” would use the default woo commerce cart and just complete the entire transaction as a quote request”. I think your settings has changed to “normal”

Thanks figured that one out. But what is the difference between rfq check out and the regular checkout?

    Plugin Author Neah Plugins

    (@gplsaver)

RFQ would use the default woo commerce cart and just complete the entire transaction as a quote request. people can only pay after a rfq has been turned into an order. that is the vanilla rfq transaction.

Normal checkout allows people to pay for their orders and ask for quotes on selective items( look in the product setup). ***people pay for certain things and can still ask for quote for certain items.***

I intend to make a video soon to make it more clear.
