Home Page Gallery

  • Hi guys,
    I got Gridsby for its awesome layout to highlight my photos. I am trying to figure out how to replicate the demo home page gallery where the images are different in size and vary between portrait and landscape. In order to do this does it require changing code? I am not an expert when it comes to this and could use some direction. Please and thanks!

    The theme does not require any changing of code to replicate the demo. The theme does not automatically resize or crop images, so if you are uploading photos all with the same dimension, they will all line up perfectly like a grid.

    I would recommend using a photo editor to crop and change the dimensions of your images. This will create a look similar to the demo.

    Every time I post an image despite its orientation in the featured image it translates to horizontal. I change the aspect ratio, would you recommend that I start over and reinstall the theme?
