Home page gets a "Page isn't redirecting properly" error.

    The URL is https://gastric-bypass-surgeons.com and https://gastric-lap-band.com. I deleted the Hello World post but don’t know if that is what is wrong. I can see the site from the Preview
    button but if I try the “visit site” or “view page” buttons I get this error message:

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    I’ve cleared cookies and cache, and replaced the Hello World with another article, but no luck. It also doesn’t work if I change between Static home page and blog home page in the Reading Settings. HELP?? I need to get these sites live.

  • Try looking over your code, maybe some code is conflicting? (Start in the theme)

    Thanks, it was a redirection plug in problem. The Plug-in is Redirection by John Godley Version 2.1.28.

    The fix was to change these settings: “Match: URL Only Action: Redirect to URL” to these settings
    “Match: URL Only Action: Do nothing”
