Home page in YOKO

I’m new to WP. I’ve chosen YOKO as a theme. I don’t understand the HOME page of YOKO. There is nothing I can do with it. It doesn’t show up under Pages and there doesn’t seem to any way to delete it. What is its purpose. Is there a way for me to make my Welcome page the HOME page? Also, how do I make it obvious for those visiting the site to go to my posts? Sorry for this most likely “stupid” questions.
