Home page is missing

    Hi. I really like this theme but I have been having an issue, unable to find the home page. I do SED using Yoast plugin but without homepage, I can not set the SEO title and the meta description. My site doesn’t appear on Google search due to the lack of SEO. Please help.

    Hi @bambooic,

    Yoast SEO lets you change the meta description of your homepage at SEO → Search Appearance in the administration panel. You can find the homepage meta description field beneath the “Homepage” heading on that page.

    Thanks for your quick response. I have done that yesterday and this morning but it just doesn’t change a thing. When I type my site tile without any space (cookusvegan) it appears on Google search but typing with space between the words (cook us vegan) it just wouldn’t. I thought if I could access to the homepage or a file to have a look, I might be able to find what is causing this. Any ideas?

    Google doesn’t update their search results instantly, so any changes you make in the SEO settings of your site will take some time to bubble up to Googles search results page.

    Since your issue is not related to Fukasawa directly, but to the Yoast SEO plugin, you might get better help by posting in the Yoast SEO support forum where the Yoast SEO support people will see it.
