Home page is not caching while all other pages are working fine.

    I recently started using WP Optimize. I used it years ago for database optimization. Lately came to know that it can also be used as caching plugin. So I started using on one of my client website.

    After my normal configuration of caching, preload and minification all the pages are loading super fast except my home page.

    For some reason home page is not getting cached. I can see the gzip compression comment at the bottom of the page for other pages but not on the home page source code and also the loading of the home page also can be observed.

    I have a video embeded on that page, using polyland translation on home page. I am not sure if these prevent caching of the page. Just for information I am sharing.

    But there is also another gallery page has video but it is caching perfectly. I think embed is not a problem.

    Please suggest what I should do to make it work on home page as well.

    UPDATE: I tested with disabling the Polylang WordPress plugin and the home page is also getting cached now.

    So how can I make the pages cached even with language plugin used?

    Hi,

    This is quite a well known issue with polylang and affects all caching plugins. The home page is automatically removed from the cache if you activate the browser preferred language detection
