Home page issues

  • My company website has been hacked recently and I have done all I can to fix various pages, I have removed malware etc but two things are still a problem.

    1. the home page doesn’t show when you view the website, the contents page shows where the homepage should be and

    2. one of my pages says: “this page has a redirect loop”

    The has only occured since the site was hacked, can anyone help me resolve them.

  • Something was definitely missed then. Did you follow everything at the WordPress guide for this?

    Your theme does need to be re-installed from an original backup. Double-check your header.php file for the theme for sure, but there could be other files still affected.

    You can also check Sucuri or install their plugin.
