• Hi,

I’m using the blank template for my about me page as well as my privacy policy and terms of condition page. For some reason these pages are showing with no page titles. I’ve tried adding a page heading on the template, but that still didn’t fix it. When I use a different page template for those pages it doesn’t show the correct page all.

Unfortunately, I can’t add a link since this is my staging site and a password is needed in order to view, which I’m not willing to give out. I tried adding a screenshot, but that didn’t work either.

  • The Blank template does not contain the page title by default.

To display the page title on pages using the Blank template, you will need to edit the Blank template and place the Post Title block somewhere in the template.

The Blank page template is indeed blank by default, hence its name. ?? Let me know how it goes adding the Post Title block to your Blank page template, as @uxl suggested – that should do the trick.

That worked thank you. Is there a way I can get the header menu to show on the blank template as well?

Sure, you can add your Header template part to the Blank template to get it to show up when using that template.

Once you make all these additions, of course, the template is no longer “blank.” If it had been me, I’d probably have opted to just adjust the default Page template – or create a custom template instead, if I needed two different static page tempaltes. This would have left the Blank template actually blank, in case I ever did need to use it in the future. ?? But this is entirely up to you.
