Home page margins are all wrong

Okay, this theme has a slider at the top of the home page (works fine), a “services” section below that, which displays the pages you choose to display, and a “blog” section that does the same thing as the “services” section.

The blog and the slider sections work just fine. This “service” section is a mess. The pages are advertised as being excerpts, but when I go to update the section everything in the page posts to the homepage, the entire content.

In addition to that, the posts in the “services” section overlap. Where and how do I remedy these margin errors?
