I just updated to the latest evolve theme, and now the home pages of the sites that use it are full of evolve ads and are missing the images in the header. Huge mess! Does every user really have to go in and recustomize their site to get rid of the evolve advertisements?? Is there a quick way to get rid of these ads?

    Thanks.

If 3.7.6 is the last version prior to 3.8(I think it was) …then yes, I believe he’s fixed it all now. At least the items discussed here are fixed…and if you read through the posts, it wasn’t major anyways, it turned out in the end. Even if he didn’t do a code fix, you could have gone in the theme customizer and dragged a couple of things around, and it would have been ok.

i’ve read all the replies, but i dont want again to customize things. i love evolve, i think romik is one of the best, always there when we need something, but he managed with some updates to make our hands trembling before we press update to new version. So the latest stable version is 3.8.1. or we must wait soon the 3.8.2?
    Romik?

    Hi @nickpapag,

We’ve been using the Evolve theme for a long time, and last 3.8.0 theme version create some conflict on the home page but It looks OK in the new version 3.8.1. so 3.8.1 evolve version is perfect.

    Thank you

    Hello,
I recently was commissioned by a client to update their website (lawpickard.com). It is a law office that hadn’t been updated their site since 2014. They utilize the evolve theme and I updated it from v.2.6.4 to 3.8.1. It looked terrible; it was impossible to navigate and had ads everywhere. The nav bar duplicated itself (possibly displaying the mobile and desktop versions simultaneously), the header was all wonky, and ads were overlaying the content. I wondering if this could be related to the issues described above concerning 3.8.1. I reinstalled the backup and reverted back to 2.6.4, and my client generally wants everything to look the same on their site with some content updates and adjustments to their mobile version. I know keeping the latest version updated is usually best practice, and I am wondering if there is a way to do this without the site looking terrible and unusable after the update. Thanks!

OMG. I was so horrified with what happened to my website. I was about to change to another theme. Thank you, Donna.

Not quite sure for what, but you are most welcome Ellen.
