Home page not available on page list

Hello all,

I just started making my first website, so forgive me if I am being a silly noodle. I have a home page (the default one which was created with my website, I can see it in the site editor) but it does not show up in the page list on my dashboard. Also, none of the functions used in this article to set the home page are available on my dashboard;

Is this possibly due to things being changed around for 6.3? I would love some guidance. I am using Kadence theme. Thanks!
