home page not found

hi
i deleted the Italian version of the home page by mistake (English is my default language).
now, if i click on the pencil to edit a new homepage in Italian it says “Error. The page you are looking for is in the bin. Restore it and retry.” But bin of pages is empty.
where should i restore the home page from if the bin looks empty?
