home page not showing

  • I have a problem with my home page now. It worked perfectly okay to start with but now it shows alright when you first go into the website, but when you move to another page and then come back to it again it does not show and instead it displays a message that it has been removed by the author, which is not true. All the other pages work perfectly. Can anyone help please? I am running the latest update of Word Press.

  • The link you included in “The page I need help with” is not valid.

    While volunteers on these forums do try to provide general advice even if we cannot see the site in question, finding a source of a redirect / quasi-redirect is tricky at the best of times.

    Please switch your theme to a default Twenty – theme.
    Please disable all plugins and turn them back one by one to see if you can isolate the code.
    Try to re-install WordPress core (you can do so from the Updates tab in wp-admin).

    Meanwhile you set permalinks again, just open Settings->Permalinks page and click on save button then refresh your website pages and see the effect.
